RINGLITE TM has eliminated the guesswork of locating this lighting tool and the task of building something that in most instances will be shelved or discarded. The RINGLITE measures 19in. in diameter with a 9in. open center that fits around just about any size lens, is 2-2 1/2 in. in depth and weighs only 5 1/2 lbs. with a camera bracket (Arri or Panavision) attached to it. It can be mounted remotely via a pin bracket and a Steadycam bracket is also available. Arrayed within the concentric form there are 72 segments of LED that are divided into three circuits. Each circuit is individually switched and all circuits can be adjusted via a dimmer control. Additionally, no heat is emitted from the light, so it can be mounted up close without discomfort to your subject. Energy consumption is minimal (7.2amps@12VDC). A power supply transforms 110VAC to 12VDC. A battery adapter kit with built-in controls is available that allows for remote locations. You can take this light anywhere. A filter/diffusion pack consisting of laminated color correction filters and four types of white diffusion are available. These precut filters are applied to the front of the RINGLITE and retained by a clear plastic cover.
